Restore the lost horsepower of your EFI motor!

YOU ASKED FOR IT... WE'VE GOT IT!

WE CAN NOW SERVICE MOST TOP-FEED AND SIDE-FEED INJECTORS, INCLUDING THE OPTIMAX SIDE-FEED AND DIRECT (AIR) INJECTORS!

OUR PROPRIETORY TECHNOLOGIES ALLOW US THE MOST ACCURATE CALIBRATION METHOD AVAILABLE ANYWHERE!

The injectors in your outboard motor have a tough life! The combination of irregular engine use and a fuel/oil mixture results in residue build-up in your injectors. This can cause:

  • Reduced fuel flow or fuel flooding conditions
  • Reduced fuel mileage
  • Rough idle
  • Reduced horsepower
  • Loss of top speed RPMs
  • Engine failure

The overall purpose of having a cleaned and balanced set of injectors is to allow for optimum performance from your motor.

Each injector is flow tested and measured individually, and data recorded.

The cleaning process involves back-flushing injectors in an ultrasonic bath.

When performing the flow testing and calibration of your injectors we cycle the injectors at:

BEFORE CLEANING
Each injector is numbered with etching underneath the connector- this numbering sequence will correspond to the Injector Calibration Report. (If you are trying to diagnose an engine problem, you can number the injectors before sending to us and we will number and test the injectors based on your numbering.)
Inspect injectors for electrical resistance and shorting.
Remove injector screens and o-rings.
Individually flow test each injector at Static Flow, 5 MSEC, and 2.5 MSEC- recording results.
Analyze spray pattern- noting irregularities.
Bosch injectors are bead-blasted to remove old paint and corrosion.
CLEANING
Ultrasonically clean in heated bath solution while injectors are cycling.
Back-flush injectors to remove contaminants.
AFTER CLEANING
Individually flow test each injector at Static Flow, 5 MSEC, and 2.5 MSEC- until measurement stabilizes to 1/100 gram and continuously repeats.
Compute results of flow tests and generate comprehensive Injector Calibration Report.
Bosch injectors are sealed with clear lacquer.
Install new screens and o-rings.
